Rabbitry Management
Welcome to our rabbitry management web segment! This segment is all about your rabbitry - recommendations for your rabbitry building and ventilation, rabbit cage sizes, rabbit feed and hay, plus articles on breeding rabbits, rabbit care, illness and treatment and rabbit recordkeeping and pedigrees.
I just published this segment in late January 09 so many of the articles are
unfinished - I'll be working on new ones daily so stop in often! As each article is published, I'll
announce it in my blog too.
The information in my articles is based on my own experience raising, breeding and showing rabbits since 2003. Any outside sources, that I embellish articles with, will be listed at the bottom of the each article. Some excellent sources of rabbit care information are available through several ARBA publications, notably Raising Better Rabbits And Cavies, and Rabbit Production, available at Klubertanz Equip.
Although I am not a vet, I've gained knowledge through my personal research, my successes and my failures treating my own rabbits.
If you choose to use any of my advice, please remember, you do so at your own risk. I cannot guarantee what worked for me, will work for you! You should consult your own vet, especially if you feel your rabbit is critically ill.
