2003-2004 Rabbit Show Schedule and Highlights

This was the first year we showed rabbits!  For most of this season, the only rabbits we had to show were the ones we purchased as our foundation stock, but these rabbits taught us the ropes; a lot about conditioning, grooming and showing - We think we had a terrific first year and by only showing a few rabbits!  Our first litters of Hollands were just reaching prime show age late in the Spring so we didn't have much opportunity to exhibit these during this year.  Kelly's French Lop juniors approached show age as of summer, so again, they were not shown during this season.  All in all, we met a lot of really nice rabbit people and had lots of fun!

Highlights:  Jody's Holland Lop Sr. Doe, Petal (YRA H072) won her class.  Kelly's French Lop Sr. Doe, Creek Haven Janet, placed 2nd in her large class.  Wow this was a crowded show!

Highlights:    This was the first showing of our first litter of Holland bucks, each placed mid-class!

Badger Rabbit Breeders Association

Highlights:    Petal won her class (HL Sr Brkn Doe 1/12)  Kelly's Creek Haven Janet (Fr. Lop Sr. Solid Doe) placed 2/13.  This is a very crowded show - no room for chairs or grooming tables!

Highlights:    Kelly's French Lop Jr. Brkn Buck, Creek Haven Bucky, won BOS!  Jody's first home-bred Holland Lop Jr. buck, Blackwire, won his class and 1st leg!  YRA Doubles placed 2nd in his large SSB class!

Highlights:    Jody's home-bred Holland Lop Jr. Buck, Spliced Wire, won BOS!  Kelly's French Lop Sr. Doe, Creek Haven Janet, won BOV and BOG!

                    Really a bummer that we did not get our points for this show due to late reporting!  :(

Fox Valley Spring Fling XIV

Weyauwega, Wisconsin

Highlights:    Kelly's French Lop Sr. Does, Creek Haven Sandi, won BOV! and Creek Haven Janet won BOSV!  Jody's HL Sr. Doe, Petal,  won her class (1/12) and all his other Hollands placed in the top portion on their classes!  This show was held at a very nice fairgrounds and was a lot of fun!  What a nice way to end this years' showing season!
