Our Holland Lop Bucks

Quality Holland Lop bucks bred here in our rabbitry!

Our goal has been to keep only the Holland Lop bucks that are comparable or better than their parents - and with the foundation Holland Lop bucks and does we have, this has been a tough task to accomplish!  We have selected a few nicer bucks out of our breedings to keep at least until they mature - so far, I don't think any are better than their parents, but each has some qualities that we want to keep in our lines.

If anyone tells you that raising Holland Lops takes patience - they are not kidding!  Just when you think you've waited long enough for a promising youngster to grow, you realize you still have more waiting to do.  Most of our young Holland Lop bucks on this page are just turning senior at the start of the fall '05 show season, which means they'll be competing against mature Hollands on the show table now- always a challenge!

2/06 We will get some updated pictures soon - many of these bucks have changed!

Holland Lop buck, LaReau's Little Bear, broken sable point

LaReau's Little Bear 41LL

YRA Doubles x YRA Lambchop

broken sable point

Bear is a very nice buck-solid, chunky body, excellent topline and nice head - we are excited by how this one is maturing!  Hasn't been shown yet.  Not the best picture.....

picture coming soon!

LaReau's Nickolas 40LL

YRA Doubles x YRA Lamchop

broken tortoise

Nick has a very, very short, wide body-the type we are breeding for!  His biggest fault is his poor crown, but we are hoping that will improve with time.

LaReau's Domino - Holland Lop buck, broken black color

LaReau's Domino 50LL

YRA Dexter x LaReau's Taz

broken black

1 ARBA Leg

Domino is developing nicely - as of early 2006, he is a very young senior still

picture coming soon!

LaReau's Spliced Wire

Reilly's GMT1 x H078

broken black

1 ARBA Leg: BOS

This buck has inherited his sire's ultra-solid body - one judge even asked if we fed him cement!  Super sweet personality also.

LaReau's Tiny 56LL

YRA Muggins x YRA Cocoa

solid tortoise

This tiny young buck is a senior and still under 3 lbs.  He is maturing nicely, allow a poor picture here - he is quite a tiny little chunk!

LaReau's Zack 68LL

BB's 748 x BB's 695

Sable Chinchilla

This buck is Kelly's only Holland Lop- a very personable rabbit!    His destiny seems to be Kelly's showmanship bunny as he is hovering dangerously close to the 4 lbs mark as he approaches senior age.

Holland Lop Jr. buck, LaReau's MC, broken tortoise

LaReau's  72LL

YRA Muggins x LaReau's JC

broken tortoise

This small junior buck is developing nicely - we like his bold shoulders and his show-off attitude.  The larger ears are characteristic of this line- we hope his head development will balance them out a bit.
